Here are the lurchers that Scruples are helping to rehome. This may be in conjunction with other rescues or private rehomings. Please initially fill in an online adoption application to offer to adopt any of the dogs you see below.
She is currently being fostered in Cheshire and is living with a small dog and two cats.
Sophie has previously been used for breeding. She is very nervous of men, due to her previous ill treatment, and she will need a quiet home where she can learn to trust again. She has been walked with a variety of dogs and always fine. She loves attention and cuddles and is not food aggressive.
She has recently been spayed, micro chipped and vaccinated and her foster mum cannot sing her praises enough, but she will require work with men. She is totally clean in the house.
Taken in by current owner as an emaciated and abused little chap, Dash can be a bit nervous of larger dogs such as GSDs but is very loving and adores running and playing.
He does need a home with another sighthound for company so that he can have the benefit of a like-minded companion as his current JRT companion can’t cope with a speed merchant like Dash! He would also like his human to be at home most of the time, too, so that he doesn’t feel insecure.
Dash would be happier in a quiet, rural home as he is very nervous of noise and traffic.
Dash is currently living in the Maidenhead area of Berkshire and any prospective adopter would need to travel to meet Dash before proceeding with homing him.
